The part in your edit tag was actually the ONLY thing I found entertaining in any of the trailers. Thank you for cementing the fact that I don't want to see it. Along with every other review that said its a Will Smith movie and that he's a god awful Deadshot.
I can't really dispute that. Personally, my main reasons (and, I suspect, most others' as well) for wanting to see it were the new Joker and Harley.

Which has been the one redeeming thing I've read in the reviews, but changing the core of Deadshot really turns me off. I really like him as a character, and Will Smith is one of the last people I would ever cast as him(not because I dislike Will Smith, just a bad choice). Also been hearing its pretty disjointed, due to overediting trying to make it more like Deadpool. I'll likely see it on disc.

Yeah, I hear you. I'm sure they reasoned they could get away with it because he's a less well-known character, but I'd feel the same way if they tried to cast some young(er) douchebag as Deathstroke, for example.

Can't really dispute that either. This is a problem that it shares with Dawn of Justice: the movie inevitably comes to a point where the story requires the characters to pull together as one, but they haven't taken the time necessary beforehand to fully explain it and make it believable. You know?

Another one I feel they did well on Arrow. Could you imagine Will Smith as Slade Wilson? Same basic situation.

Yeah. I spent the first half of BvS going, "WTF is going on?" It was all over the place.
