I have an achievement in Dungeons of Dredmor for the game crashing on me. And one for dying on the first floor, restarting with the same starting skills, and dying on the first floor again. And one for dying during the tutorial.

That's impressive! ...I think.

Well a couple days ago I finished Rise of the Tomb Raider, and would very heartily recommend it. As good as the previous Tomb Raider game was (and it was exceptional), this game is that much better.

So after spending the past couple weeks moving most of my worldly possessions to a new apartment, I've finally gotten around to playing the new remake of Resident Evil 2...and I am completely in awe.

I'm frankly amazed by what they've managed to achieve with it. It's a far more ambitious upgrade than the RE1 remake was, but you (probably) already know that. But what blows me away is that Capcom has somehow succeeded in making a 20-year-old game feel every bit as fresh, exciting, and groundbreaking NOW, in today's market, as it did back when it first came out. And when it first came out, it was THE game that revolutionized the entire survival horror genre.

So if you think the RE2 remake must be easier than the original, by virtue of the updated camera perspective, movement controls, manual aiming, etc...
